The Ocean Policy Working Group and Oceans@Duke are collaborating to host a one-night event discussing offshore wind development and biodiversity conservation efforts in preparation for offshore wind energy projects proposed for the U.S. East Coast. Join us February 15th at 7pm in Grainger Hall’s Field Auditorium for a one-hour presentation by Douglas Nowacek, Principal Investigator for Project Wildlife and Offshore Wind (WOW). As a trans-disciplinary, highly integrated collaboration of diverse experts, Project WOW seeks to create a comprehensive evaluation of the potential effects of offshore wind energy development on marine biota.
